Forgiveness doesn& excuse their behavior. Forgiveness prevents their behavior from destroying your heart.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the…

"Occasionally weep deeply over the life that you hoped would be. Grieve the losses. Feel the pain. Then wash your face trust God and embrace the life that hes given you. The reason for that counsel is 1 Thessalonians 4:13 where Paul says 'We do not want you to be uninformed . . . about those who are asleep' about those who have died 'that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.' So theres real grieving which he expects and theres hope. Grieving is real losses are real pain is real

I hope God hears my prayers. Because I still love him so much.

I felt like the persistent friend only to experience what Lewis described as 'A door slammed in your face and a sound of bolting and double bolting on the inside.' But over time…

“And to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you.” 1 Thessalonians 4:11

from Anna Taylor - One day, she realized that she could never please everyone, so she gave up trying and decided to be herself. Whether other people liked it or not was not her business.
