I can't like this enough. So many times we stay in our little boxes because we're afraid of suffering. But the thing is that, when we stay in those boxes, we're not only protecting ourselves right out of suffering but also we're protecting ourselves right out of joy. It's a boring life.
January 11, 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt made the Grand Canyon a National Monument. "Do nothing to mar its grandeur, for the ages have been at work upon it and man cannot improve it. Keep it for your children, your children's children and all who come after you."
