I discovered this old poster when looking for some old theatre breaks logos. It was probably the first design for a theatre break ever. My uncle Raymond came up with the name "That's Entertrainment" during a brainstorming session with my dad. The poster was designed by DeWynters. As you can see it was very much orientated around rail and theatre packages with the hotels as an add on. It wasn't until BR ended the contract that we concentrated on hotel and theatre breaks - never looked back!

Lol no, it's because theatres used to have several different acts back stage waiting to go on if something went wrong. They didn't have enough money to pay every act, so you were only paid if you performed. The term "break a leg" was used to wish people to go on (breaking the leg of the stage by entering) & get paid. It eventually became used to wish someone good luck.
