There is evidence to suggest the Sphinx is significantly (thousands of years) older than the pyramids of Giza. The Sphinx has erosion that geologists confirm is from water, not wind or sand. Archelogists have also been able to work out that it would have lined up with the constellation of Leo in 10,000BC. So, could it be that 12,000 years ago an advanced civilization built the Sphinx - at a time when the climate was different?

Karnak Temple - Avenue of the Sphinxes (900 yes 900!). Spanning the 2+ mile distance between Thebes and Karnak. Ending 60 meters before the 1st pylon where a colonnade of 20 pillars, each 65 ft tall were raised. Constructed by Pharaoh Tarharka, 25th Dynasty, Neo New Kingdom. (Tarharka constructed or restored several temples at Karnak. Check my other pins to learn more about this intentionally neglected King).
