The Lobster (2015)

January 2016 | 1. The Lobster – Quite abrupt but funny at times and beautifully shot. It's quite nice to watch something with such a different concept and storyline. 6/10

The Lobster (March 11 2016) R - In a dystopian near future, single people, according to the laws of The City, are taken to The Hotel, where they are obliged to find a romantic partner in forty-five days or are transformed into beasts and sent off into The Woods. - Director: Yorgos Lanthimos - Writers: Yorgos Lanthimos, Efthymis Filippou - Stars: Jacqueline Abrahams, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Jessica Barden - COMEDY / DRAMA / ROMANCE

The Lobster (2015) directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. my interest in this movie stems from the interesting relationships between characters. specifically how they mirror each others actions, this is a technique i would love to implement into this project. using the man and supporting characters to mirroring each other, showing that they come from the same persons consciousness.

The Lobster (2015) Cannes favorite Yorgos Lanthimos ("Dogtooth," "Alps") is headed back to the festival with "The Lobster," a dystopian romance starring Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz.

― The Lobster (2015) David: It is more difficult to pretend that you do have feelings when you don’t, than to pretend you don’t have feelings when you do.
