The Empress tarot card by Arlene Marie Hebert - the symbol on her shield is the cover of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury UK. Also appears to be a Chalice (or Grail) in her hand. Wondering if she represents Guinevere in Camelot. Also curious whether there is significance to 12 stars above her head.
The Empress Alexandra Feodorovna of Russia (6th June 1872 – 17th July 1918). Before the Revolution, the Russian royal family lived surrounded by enormous wealth and luxury in enormous palaces. Incredibly some of the gorgeous gowns worn by the Empress have survived and can still be seen today…
Henry II - King of England 1154-1189 Henry was the eldest son of the Empress Matilda and her second husband, Geoffrey of Anjou. As grandson of King Henry I, he helped his mother in her armed attempt to take the English throne from her cousin, Stephen. Matilda eventually withdrew, but Henry continued the fight and forced Stephen to accept him as his heir. He and his wife ruled a vast Empire stretching from the Scottish Border to the Pyrenees.
This crown was created in 1856 by Russian Court Jewelers & made from silver & diamonds for Alexander II's wife, Maria Alexandrovna, who later presented it to her beloved daughter-in-law Dagmar-Minnie-Marie Feodorovna.
