Alice Fox Tide Marks book detail | The 'Tide Marks' series explores the marks and patterns of material along the tide line of a beach. Layers of mark and texture are built up with rust print, collagraph print and hand stitch directly into the thick printmaking paper. The pages are then bound at each end of the concertina. http://alicefox.bigcartel.com/category/artists-book #artists_book
Southwold, Suffolk - Southwold was mentioned in Domesday Book (1086) as a fishing port, and, after the "capricious River Blyth withdrew from Dunwich in 1328, bringing trade to Southwold in the 15th century", it received its town charter from Henry VII in 1489.
"Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it" ..........Some good travelling... well most of it
