This is a listing for one handpainted ceramic spoon. These spoons are handbuilt using a pinching method and I make the handles using coils of clay. Once the spoon is a little more dry I scrape them to refine the shape. The piece is fired once, then hand painted, glazed and fired for a second time to a high temperature in an electric kiln. I cover the concave side of the spoon in glaze and leave the handles and the underside plain. My spoons are made from stoneware clay. They are food safe…
