4/13 I believe that Babakumuru resembles a Paralympic athlete. All Paralympic athletes have a disability, which people believe stopped them from ever doing anything. The athletes don't let this stop them, and go on to thrive. Babakumuru has the disability of coming from poverty. Yet, he does not let that rule over his life. He thrives among the whites and reaches his dreams.

The athletes compete in 20 sports that have various classifications, depending on an athlete’s level of impairment. The Games conclude Sept. 9.
