Teaching Money ideas -- GREAT for a math center. I would have all of the coins cut out first which will greatly reduce the time that students are doing an activity, this would probably need to be teacher/para/parent led.

This is a teacher's tool, I think it is a great activity for co-parents to do with their children to help them understand how to use money responsibly.

This game is VERY simple but powerful for the kids because it helps them to make those connections that 5 pennies = 1 nickel, 2 nickels = 1 dime, etc...

Each purse contains coins. Pupils add up the amounts and write the answers in the boxes provided. Mixed coins (1p, 2p and 5p) going up to 10p total.
