Several months ago (January this year actually) I did a 2 inch postage stamp quilt that I really liked- such a great way to use up those scr...

NARROW SASHING:  1. Quilt blocks = top + batting + backing, quilt all the way to edges.  2. Sashing: sew top & bottom strips to 1st block with SAME seam.  3. Join: sew bottom strip to next block, open blocks out and lay flat. Edges of blocks should meet.  4. Finish: slip-stitch top strip to 2nd block by hand.
