Blue Enamel Ribbed Egg ca. 1885-1891 made of green, red and yellow gold, sapphires, diamonds and translucent royal blue enamel. the minature rabbit is made of aquamarine and rubies. It is suspected that the Egg today is much changed from its original appearance.


Princess Sofia was also given a set of rubies as a wedding gift by the Greek shipping magnate, Stavros Niarchos, after known as the Niarchos Rubies. Though not strictly a tiara, these can be worn as a bandeau and necklace combination.
