Selyse Baratheon, née Florent, is a recurring character in the third, fourth and fifth seasons. Selyse is the wife of Stannis Baratheon. Sarah MacKeever initially appeared as Selyse in the Season 2 premiere "The North Remembers", but as an uncredited placeholder with no dialogue. Due to time constraints the production team waited to officially introduce Selyse until Season 3, when Tara Fitzgerald was cast in the role.
