1823, figured silk trimed with silk. This ensemble represents a very high standard in the quality of its workmanship. It is elaborately decorated with piping (very thin rolls of fabric) and appliqué. The collar of the jacket is constructed to resemble the slashing of 16th and 17th century fashions. The jacket covers the arms and neck and makes the outfit suitable for day wear.

Rio Olympics 2016: Great Britain win team dressage silver, Germany take gold

Defending champions Great Britain won silver in the Olympic team dressage, as world champions Germany claimed gold. The British quartet - Spencer Wilton, Fiona Bigwood, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin - were beaten into second by 3.334 points. Germany's Sonke Rothenberger, Dorothee Schneider, Kristina Broring-Sprehe and Isabell Werth scored 81.936 points, with Britain on 78.602. The United States won bronze
