ADELIE PENGUIN....the smallest penguin found in the Antarctic and on its islands....as small as 15.5 inches....builds its nest of stones on the rocky beaches, jealously guarding and often fighting over the best rocks.....unable to fly...excellent swimmers and jumpers....spend 75% of its time in the water hunting for food....1 of 17 species....layered with dense outer feathers, soft downy feathers, and a thick layer of fat under their skin
