Temple Row at Snug Harbor in Staten Island, NY. Once a home for aged sailors, Snug Harbor holds five temple like building referred to as "most extraordinary" suite of of greek temple style buildings in the United States. This set of greek revival architecture was built sometime around 1883 during the development of american greek revival. The first building towards the left contains a well defined pediment and ionic columns with the volute feature.
