Over a period of a year my red and white blood cell counts increased to way above abnormal. They thought I might have leukemia. Come to find out it was just lack of oxygen to my cells from not wearing my c-pap at night. I was slowly killing myself. Now I wear it every night!
Sleep apnea (also spelled as sleep apnoea) is defined as a sleep disorder that is characterized by pauses in breathing or instances of shallow breathing while you sleep. These pauses in breathing can last from a few seconds to minutes. They may occur 30 times or more an hour
