The Mangalitsa ~ Commonly referred to as “sheep-pigs”,"wooly pig", this breed is on the brink of extinction. Mangalitsa pigs originated from Austria and Hungary, and they come in three color varieties: blond, brunette and redhead.
Costasiella kuroshimae or ‘Leaf Sheep’ which can grow up to in length and can be found near Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, is that they are one of the only animals in the world that can perform photosynthesis.
Photographer Carys Mair Evans got two flocks of in-lamb ewes to form a heart shape and then took a picture of it to help Young Farmers' Clubs in Wales raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. For my sheep loving son :)
