Lesson notes for kids! One of the best ways to help kids retain the information heard during message or devotional is to have them take notes. It also gives them something to do and helps them avoid distractions and the temptation to be disruptive.
Can't do this at my school because we are too competitive to. This is not a flawless plan or a good idea as some kids wouldn't contribute knowing they could see other kids notes. I guess it depends on who is in the class
Have the students write down a text connections that they make during their independent reading time on a slip of construction paper, share, and then categorize them into the three text connections. Once categorized, connect them to create paper chains.
