Acrylic painting on vintage paper. About the paper : I buy on car boot sale or second-hand store some old french book printed from 1860 to 1930 for the remarkable quality of the paper. It has a good thickness, it is sometimes laminated, and usually it is made from hemp or cotton. Furthermore, touched by the time, each sheet is unique. A little bit yellow, usually with some brown spot, it also release the smell of old that I like.

Barter Books in Alnwick, Northumberland. One of the biggest second-hand book shops in Britain! Free tea and coffee next to a roaring fire plus a cafe further inside that serves food. Yum. Used to be an old railway station. One of my favouritest places to browse for old books :)

Buy paintings at the second hand store and then paint your own random and kind of scary phrases over them.
