Phil 4: 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Spending time in prayer before bed and God continues to remind me of His mighty presence, sweet love, and constant faithfulness. Laying it all down in faith knowing that He has me and He knows my heart and my desires.
Knocking yourself down first takes even more courage. That's when you expose everything that has been holding you back. It leaves you vulnerable for a while, but doesn't everyone owe it to themselves to be honest about what's holding them back? yes it hurts. But nothing will ever hurt more than missing out. That is lifelong regret! Take responsibility for the belief systems you react from, some are personal to you and others are cultural and societal.
