rubber-mat-wall-art --I actually think this would be great outside on a porch wall..since it is rubber there would be no rusting to worry about..and you could use the stair risers that are rubber to make a three panel series...cute idea!

Spray paint: rubber door mat with a primer (any light color), base coat with black (allow dry time between coats). Use two coats of the Matte Heirloom White, allow a few days airing time outside. Use 120 grit sand paper on a small hand sander, sand to distress/aged feel.

Painted rubber door mat wall art: Buy $1.00 doormat from the dollar store. Paint with Heirloom White spray paint from Home Depot. Once it is dry, sand it to give an aged look. Or, just leave as is.
