Frank Arthur Sedgman (born 1927 Victoria, Australia) is a retired former World No. 1 amateur tennis champion. Sedgman dominated amateur tennis in 1951 and 1952 when there was no Open tennis. He was the Wimbledon Singles champion in 1952. Sedgman is only one of five tennis players all-time to win a multiple slam set in two disciplines, matching Margaret Court, Roy Emerson, Martina Navratilova & Serena Williams.
