I ate as many as I could when I was in Romania because I figured I would never eat it again. I might have gained about 8 pounds from papanasi alone, but it was the easiest 8 pounds I ever accepted, lol. Are there any recipes that are true to what I ate in Romania floating around the internet?

Had Papanasi when in Romania.. they were plate-finger-licking good..... crunchy and soft, packed with flavour...they were better with the sour cherry jam... yummmmmmm....
