tamburina: “ Robert Frank, New York City, 1947 “Dear parents, never have I experienced so much in one week as here. Life here is very different than in Europe.

Robert Frank -- Robert Franks photograph seems normal at first, he captures everyday things for the most part, but this image doesnt seem so the more you look at it.. You see a baby in a plastic bag. Which at first makes the image feel very dark, then when you realise its fake you don't know whether to laugh.

Robert Frank is one of my biggest inspirations. Himself an extremely important figure in the history of photography, will be remembered especially for his photography book “The Americans”.

William Klein. A celebrated picture, and one to send shivers down your spine. But in fact the kids were playing, larking about under Frank's direction.
