Roald Amundsen Norwegian explorer who reached the South Pole before Scott. He was more experienced with sleigh dogs and skiing. Also he had no scientific agenda.

Der Heroes Anorak wurde durch den ursprünglichen Anorak inspiriert, wie ihn Roald Amundsen und seine Männer bei der Eroberung des Südpols 1911 verwendeten. Er ist aus einem Mischgewebe aus Leinen und Baumwolle gefertigt, das mit einem natürlichen Wachs behandelt wird. Das Wachs wird mit der Zeit abgenutzt, und der Anorak sollte daher von Zeit zu Zeit gewachst werden, um das gewünschte Gleichgewicht zwischen Wasserdichtigkeit und Atmungsaktivität zu erzielen.
