These 16 Camping Spots In Utah Are An Absolute Must See Camping season is here! It really is…at least in the southern part of the state. In fact, you should head down there right now, before the weather gets too hot. Some of these camping spots are in the northern part of the state, so you’ll want to wait for the snow to melt first…but make your reservations now – some of the more popular campgrounds fill up months in advance.
I've hiked into the Havasupai reservation 3 times. I wasn't prepared for the beauty I would experience. If you like to hike and can do 10 miles in one day, make reservations and go. June is the best month to visit, before the heat and the monsoons. We also went in April during Easter break. Had snow and rain but it was a beautiful trip none-the-less.
