The Kurdish Tambûr Craftsmen and Players Asadollah Gahvareh and Farhad Farmani from Kirmaşan, Iran. The Tambûr Instrument was already present in the 3rd century at the court of the Sasanids in Iran. Among the Kurds, especially the Yazidis and their Yarsani Cousins, this Instrument is considered sacred, especially because it is an important component of their religious Rituals.
