TESTED Nov 20, 2016 - Red pear lavender jam: Used 2.25 LB Bartlett pears (not red), same amount of sugar and lemon juice, 1tsp fresh lavender flowers (instead of 3tsp dried, also didn't steep flowers in tea infuser, instead simply threw into jam). Couldn't taste the lavender .: added aprox 1tbsp cinnamon. Took a while to thicken. YEILD: 3 half pints.
