Sweet oranges and spicy black pepper create a fantastic marinade for shrimp. It’s a fairly simple dish that looks like it took hours to prepare. You can prepare the Texmati Rice ahead of time and reheat it in the same pan you used to sauté the shrimp.
This rice is Indian inspired and so the recipe calls for traditional basmati, but Texmati rice will give much the same effect, and in fact any white rice is good made this way. Substitute almonds for the cashews if you prefer.
