Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. - Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise. Talk with the wise Hang out with the wise... Wait for a relationship with the one who is wise! If a guy cannot tell you where he's leading your heart, then don't let him consume all of your time and energy. When you spend all of your time investing in someone who isn't willing to commit, you're putting your heart in a very dangerous place.

Don't ever tell someone you love them if you don't know hope to commit to a real relationship

1.5.16 :: Thinking about Proverbs 13:12 today. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life". As long as I am holding on to a false hope or expectation, I will be disappointed. Nor can I fully enjoy the blessing of the true hope that God is offering me. [The quote is actually a paraphrase of: "Oft expectation fails, and most oft there Where most it promises." All's Well That Ends Well, Act II, i, 145]

Expectation is the root of all heartache. Not sure if Shakespeare really wrote this though. Still a good quote.
