This is one the best soups that you will ever put your lips on! This makes a great meal served along with a hardy home-made bread. There are only a few locations in the Great State of Texas that you can enjoy this in person.

Critchell House Prime Rib Soup

Prime Rib Soup - I used leftover prime rib. Left out carrots & barley. Added 3 stocks celery, spinach and stewed tomatoes . Splashed in Worcestershire sauce & 2 packets Sazon. Didn't need beef bullion.

Prime Rib Soup: 4 cups water, 2 cups beef broth, 4 beefy ribs, cut from leftover prime rib roast, 1/4 cup barley, 10 baby carrots, 2 garlic cloves, peeled and left whole 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons beef bouillon, such as Better Than Bouillon beef base, 2 potatoes, peeled and diced, 1 onion, peeled and diced, 1 cup egg noodles, 1 cup mixed vegetables

Wild Rice, Mushroom and Prime Rib Soup - OMG this was fab....doubled the meat required because we had it left over and I was trying to balance my protein/carb ratios per my doctor's orders....still amazingly fab!

This recipe for beef and egg noodle soup is a hearty meal full of braised tender beef, vegetables and plenty of egg noodles. It's the perfect way to warm up on a cold day!

Cottage pie

Super easy cottage pie, I'm doing the minced beef today but using the leftovers to fill some giant yorkshire puds I had over from a rack of beef rib dinner and serving the cheesy mash on the side.
