Faggots and Peasepudding, a traditional British dish, the faggots are made of pork and various types of offal, really delicious with a rich onion gravy. Peasepudding is made from yellow split peas which are mashed. I remember my Mum sending me to the butchers at the top of our road with a large basin and cloth, the butcher would fill it with the Faggots and steaming peasepudding for our Saturday supper.I used to worry I would drop it as it was so hot, I was seven at the time ah the memories!
