Rockingham Castle, Northamptonshire, UK - one of the most historic medieval houses in England, based around an early medieval castle. The castle sits atop a high hill overlooking the attractive village of the same name, and is surrounded by wonderful formal and informal gardens.
Like a lot of these locations Glen Coe is very green and has been looked after because of how colourful it looks. This location would be effective for ecotourism and I personally think it would encourage others to stop polluting areas like this.
Hidden in the centre of London, the ruins of St-Dunstan-in-the-East, a church built in the eleventh century and severely damaged during The Blitz. The ruins were repurposed into this Victorian gothic dreamscape of a public garden, crawling with Virginia creepers and creepily atmospheric.
Ambleside, Lake Windermere, Lake District. England - Bridge House was built over Stock Ghyll more than 300 years ago probably as a summer house and apple store for Ambleside Hall. The building was purchased by local people in 1926 and given to the National Trust. It is now used as an information centre for the National Trust, and is part of the Trust's Windermere and Troutbeck property.
High Force falls, Durham Found on the River Tees, High Force stands at 71ft tall and can be easily reached from the nearby Bowlees Visitor Centre, near Middleton-in-Teesdale. The Pennine Way National Trail passes the falls on its 268-mile journey across Northern England.
