Pineapple Guava is a great example of a huge bush that looks awesome as a tree. With its beautiful bark, interesting foliage, exquisite flowers and fruit, this is a really special tree in the landscape.
The Pineapple Guava is one of my favorite plants. It serves many purposes in the edible garden. It’s an easy care, evergreen shrub that has edible flowers, edible fruits and somehow, the deer DON’T eat it.
If I ever find a "Pineapple Guava". Pineapple guava, also called feijoa, is a fruit that adds a sweet-tart-floral flavor to foods like this quick bread. The glaze adds a bit of sweetness to each slice, but it's good without the glaze too.
