We read the Pigeon books during our Mo Willems author study. We made a T-chart to record if we would or would not let the Pigeon stay up late.

Literature 2- Rhyme to drive For this activity the teacher need to set up a bus (or cardboard bus), move cards, a list of on live rhyme words and materials to make pigeon headbands. The way the game works: all students line up together at the back of the bus, the teacher asks the 1st students to rhyme with the first word, if correct student picks a move card and moves however many places the card says (play till someone reaches driver seat)
