Illusions are always fun, which is why I am so fond of this photo. I really want to try to do this myself. It is so cool when my eyes shift back and forth from each perspective. I am so fascinated with this photo, mostly because I didn’t see the illusion at first.
Big Ben and houses of parliament Depth of Field being used creatively - I feel this gives a much better effect than having shot the image with a smaller aperture which would give a bigger focus in the image (so Big Ben in the background would have been in focus too).
Shape and abstraction: This image uses negative space perfectly - depending how you interperet it, the negative space can either be the sky because it is less dominant, or the buildings, because they are darker and catch your eye less.
