Parallelogram Pick is a strategic 2-player game that allows students to practice finding the area of parallelograms in a fun way. Players take turns selecting parallelograms from the game board in which their opponents need to find the area. Players record the formula and area on the recording sheet which can be easily graded using the answer key.

This resource includes 10 real-world AREA word problems that students must solve and explain using problem-solving strategies. I created this problem-solving graphic organizer for my students who struggle solving word problems and are unable to explain their work/solution.
