How to Make Paste for Paper Mache

Paper Mache paste is made with 1 part flour to 2 parts water. If you are in a high humidity area, add 1 teaspoon of salt to prevent mold. A good amount to start with is 1 cup flour and 2 cups water. Can be painted after drying. Paste can be stored in fridge for 1-2 days.

Mix in the cool water with a fork or whisk, adding the water a little at a time to keep it as smooth as possible. 3. Stir the flour mixture into the boiling water. 4. Allow it to boil for two or three minutes.
