I am very picky when it comes to my pancakes. I like them light and not heavy for the morning meal. These pancakes are wonderfully delicious. Slightly sweet and a hint of vanilla makes you think you were touched by an angel. I actually eat these plain, nothing on them at all... but put some eggs and a strip of turkey bacon and roll it up, you have breakfast on the go!
Crispy Mongolian lamb. The recipe does need quite a bit of tweaking though: maybe check meat after 2h, add more water to the sauce before it goes into the oven, buy lamb from the butchers' to make sure it hasn't got quite so much fat?
The mini cooker is ideal for frying 3" versions of English, American or Scotch pancakes. We have used a 500g fruit tin, but any similar sized tin-can will do. The cooking heat is provided by two tea light candles.
