Al-Jazzar Mosque was built in 1781 in typical Ottoman Turkish style. This mosque is the third most important mosque in Israel and the Palestinian Territories, after Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque (Tomb of the Patriarchs) in Hebron.
