Favourite colour (so far!) for lounge walls. Card Room Green by Farrow & Ball. This colour is named after the study-like rooms much favoured in the Victorian period and is unapologetic in its masculine feel. It really comes alive when contrasted with a warm neutral like Fawn or Stony Ground, as used in Victorian homes, but feels more powerful and contemporary when used with no contrasts at all. Dark Tones Undercoat.
Pale Powder by Farrow & Ball. This is the most popular of our shades of aqua. It has an unparalleled softness and in north facing rooms can read almost as a delicate grey, but it is rarely cold due to the inclusion of green pigment. It is a great favourite for use in pretty attic bedrooms where it can be used on both ceiling and walls. White & Light Tones Undercoat.
Fargevalgkandidat til stuen: Purbeck Stone fra Farrow and Ball. Purbeck Stone which resembles the colour of the stone in the Isle of Purbeck, is the strongest of our Easy Neutrals with which it is the perfect counterbalance. Less cool and softer than Manor House Gray, it is the perfect tone for well lit modern rooms but can also be used as a darker accent for Skimming Stone instead of Elephant's Breath which some find too warm. Mid Tones Undercoat.
Green Smoke by Farrow & Ball. This shade was much used in the late 19th Century and gets its name from the nature of its uncertain smokey green blue colour. It has a weathered familiarity when used in exterior situations and is extremely easy on the eye, evoking calm and serenity when used inside. Dark Tones Undercoat.
