Usain Bolt may have been the only athlete who upstaged swimmer Michael Phelps in the recent Beijing Olympics. The Jamaican sprinter surprisingly set two individual world records in the 100 and 200 meters and was part of a 4×100 relay world record Jamaican team.
Benjamin Sinclair "Ben" Johnson, CM OOnt (born December 30, 1961) is a Canadian former sprinter, who won two Olympic bronze medals and an Olympic gold medal, which was later rescinded. He set consecutive 100 metres world records at the 1987 World Championships in Athletics and the 1988 Summer Olympics, but he was disqualified for doping, losing the Olympic title and both records.
One of the greatest tennis players of all time here, Steffi Graf, in action during Wimbledon in 1988. Graf won seven Wimbledon titles, and her first came this year, as she beat the legendary Martina Navratilova in the final. That year was in fact the finest of her career, with Graf winning all four Grand Slam titles and the Olympic singles titles at the Seoul Games. The press called it a 'Golden Slam'
