Gyokusendo Okinawa Japan Okinawa World is the largest theme park of Okinawa Prefecture and presents the history, culture and nature of the island in one place. The most visited attraction is Gyokusendo: a 5,000-meter long cave formed about 300,000 years ago. 850 meters of this cavern are open to the public: visitors can walk in the caves evocatively lit and gape osservanfdo the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
One of my favorite places in Okinawa is Fukushen Garden in downtown Naha. Take 58 South towards Naha. You’ll pass Camp Kinser and as you approach downtown, look for Rte 42. Take a right there and go straight. You’ll be traveling opposite or away from Kokusai street direction. The Gardens are on your left. Look for 2 giant shisa dogs in front. There is a park on the right side and a parking lot next to the park. Admission is free. The hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Closed on Wednesdays.

It is a small group of islands scattered around a larger island which makes up the main city and most of Okinawa. This main island is called Okinawa “honto” but don’t be fooled by it’s size although very small it treasures a rich history and plethora of amazement and wonders. A lot of people may not be familiar with this small paradise
