Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume - 50 ml $85.00 from BirchBox - It's a minimalist, single note of Cetalox (grey amber) which is the base note in a lot of fragrances and is wonderful on it's own, clean and not too flowery or overwhelming. Sounds great, but where to pin? Gun or minimal board?!
Coco Noir by Chanel. To be honest, with the amount of patchouli in this, I didn't think I would like it at all. I didn't like the original Coco, or Coco Mademoiselle (which is lovely on my sister, but not on me), so I didn't expect much. But there's nothing like a Chanel fragrance, and this is one of the sexiest. It absolutely blew me away.
Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
