Parliament Buildings, Stormont (Belfast) - home to the Northern Ireland Assembly, the legislative body for Northern Ireland established under the Belfast Agreement 1998 (Good Friday Agreement). Parliament Buildings are a huge tourist attraction.
Parliament Buildings, Stormont - The Parliament Buildings, commonly known as Stormont because of their location in the Stormont area of Belfast, are the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Northern Ireland Executive.
On the drive leading up to the Stormont Estate (east of Belfast in County Down, Northern Ireland), there is statue to Edward Carson in dramatic pose. Erected in 1932 it is a rare example of a statue to a person being erected before their death.
