Before a crowd of 32,000 he demonstrated man who had " cancer" on the top of his head.   scalp was removed to show how Dr. Baker had cured the man of cancer, after only three treatments with his concoction of spring water, watermelon seed, and carbolic acid.Baker fled to Mexico to avoid arrest then continued killing patients at his new hospital in Ark. Ironically, he died in 1958 of liver cancer.

An appealing image of the blonde bombshell in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Rina Marlowe Cord from The Carpetbaggers (1964). A pencil annotation to the verso in the hand of a collector indicates that the autograph was obtained in person on 10th June 1976 when Baker attended a performance of The Norman Conquests at the Morosco Theatre in New York.
