The Enchanted Wood. Enid Blyton A book I loved as a child, and still have in my collection... I always read the author as 'Gnid' though, and was surprised as a teen to learn that was a letter E!
A buttercup flower is proof we liked butter way back when, & also it was done with dandelions.
Play Days was one of the best programmes and if it stopped at the Why Bird stop it might be a good day. You might have also sang along to the theme tune and asked: What's the sign on the lollypop?
Enid Blyton is another author who dominated my child hood. I used to long to get into the wishing chair and wish my way anywhere around the world
my childhood I still have mine in a drawer in my desk the battery is dead but I'm glad because it would never stay quiet in the middle of the night
Enid Blyton Books - I read all of them, over and over, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Faraway Tree, etc etc
Morph - i had a bendable toy morph, made of rubber with wire inside. When it started to poke through, my mum 'killed' him. 80's health and safelty, eh? #nostalgia #80s #childhood
