Green Tea Mochi Cake // 1 ½ c mochiko 1 ¼ c sugar 1 t baking powder 1 T matcha powder ¼ t salt 1 12 oz can evaporated milk 3 eggs half a stick unsalted butter, melted Oven to 350. Grease 8x8” baking pan and set aside. Mix mochiko, sugar, baking powder, matcha powder & salt. Beat eggs-whisk in evaporated milk & butter. Pour wet ing. over the mochiko flour mixture & whisk until smooth. Pour batter into pan & smooth out the top. Bake for 30-40 min. Cool for 30 min. before cutting
1 1/2 c. glutinous rice/ mochiko flour; 1 tbsp. matcha green tea powder; 1/2 c. white sugar; 1 1/2 c. water; --Mix all of the ingredients together and pour into a greased glass container. Microwave for 7-10 minutes. The mixture puffs up when when cooked.
