Michael Landon - On April 5, 1991, Michael was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; it had metastasized into his liver and lymph nodes. On July 1, 1991, at age 54, Landon died in Malibu, California. His remains were interred at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery, in Culver City, California.


Michael Landon - born Eugene Maurice Orowitz. He chose his stage name randomly out of a telephone directory. He was an actor, writer, director and producer. Best known for his long time roles as 'Little Joe" Cartwright on the TV show Bonanza, and as Charles Ingalls on the TV show Little House on the Prairie. He died on July 1, 1991 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 54.
